Since Fort Frederick is so close to the both of us, Squatch and I decided to drive up and check out the Super Moon (the closest pass of the moon to the earth since 1948). The moon reflected so much light that it was almost like daylight
Here is a shot of the moon over my camper.
During the day we spent a lot of time by Big Pool
and the Potomac River.
We also visited the fort. Squatch will post those pictures. The really neat thing was how Squatch's camera took photos through the float glass windows that we couldn't see clearly through.
For 2 days we had the entire 29 site campground to ourselves. Just before we left, however, a guy in a class A motorhome came in and decided that the best available site was right by us. It was definitely time to leave!
