How to remove factory subwoofer.

Postby dison4linux » Fri Mar 25, 2016 4:56 pm

This isn't really an upgrade question but I figure this might be the best place to ask.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this is a 2002 Rodeo LSE.

I need to know how the factory subwoofer on the LSE model (in the place where the cargo box is on the models without the subwoofer) comes out.
I had some body work done on the rodeo a while back and apparently they had to remove the interior pieces to get to where they needed to get.

It's almost a year later now and I just noticed that the bottom of the trim piece that the subwoofer is mounted to is not popped into place.
I tried popping just the bottom but the plastic wont "give" enough to let me. I tried pulling out on the top so I could get the whole thing out to start over but the top wont come loose with as much force as I'm willing to give it.

Looking to hear from someone who's had theirs out. Of course pictures are a plus.

Thanks in advance!
