Anti-theft engine starting 93 Trooper

Postby RLLawrenceJr » Mon Mar 27, 2017 3:01 pm

I have a 93 trooper that has had issues starting since I got it just before Christmas. I thought that it was a fuel pump issue or ice in the system issue. I have noticed that the Anti-theft light is blinking and was wondering if that could be the issue. Often the Trooper will start and drive but when I turn it off and come back a few hours later it won't start. It will crank but not start. When I let it sit overnight it will start right up. Now that things have warmed up, the last few days it has been starting everytime. I have not seen the Anti-theft light though. I have thought about trying to disconnect the anti-theft but I can't figure out how to do it.

Any thoughts? I did not see this issues in the forum.
