More speedometer woes

Postby TyCobb2001 » Fri Mar 10, 2017 2:05 am

So... Speedo died and got a 24 VSS. Got a new oem VSS from Jerry and had my shop put it in. No dice. Next they traced the wires from the VSS to the computer and computer to the speedometer head. Wires checked okay. Now they figure replace the speedo head. I have a message to Jerry about one, but does anyone know if this is a 1992 year only part like the VSS. The other questions is, would I still get a code 24 if the speedometer head is busted? Any thoughts or input appreciated. I posted this in general and drive train as well for exposure.
