Best gauge cluster for my 1989 pickup LS1 swap

I am doing an LS1 (2000 Camaro SS donor) swap into a 1989 Isuzu spacecab. The truck came with a mechanical speedo. I have read about swapping clusters from an Amigo, Rodeo or Trooper with electric speedos for V6 swaps. The trans is an electric VSS 4L60E automatic. My understanding is that the GM VSS produces 2000 ppm (pulses per mile). Would anyone know which cluster might be the best choice? It would be awesome if I didn't have to modify the signal, but I will if I need to. I guess the GM sourced V6's were used in the late 80's/early 90's. Would one of these be a good choice? Were there speedos electric? If so, I suppose this would be like doing an LS swap into a GM car of similar vintage, which I think is doable. For example, I got an 88 Fiero speedo to work, which was being driven by the VSS/ECU from a 2001 L67 V6, using a circuit I found online.

The Troopers with the 2.8 or 3.1 V6 and auto trans are almost entirely GM powertrain and electronics. I would think the VSS would be compatible. Later models with the Isuzu 3.2 used the same trans, but the signal may have gone through the ECM.

Thanks! What vintage are those Troopers? Will the cluster from Troopers of those years fit right into the pickup dash?

Further digging seems to indicate that the Trooper used a mechanical speedo as well until 1992, so I guess that's out.

Something like Autometer might be the way to go - you can choose whatever VSS input you want.

Both the 1st gen Troopers and '88-'95 Pickups use a mechanical cable speedo from the trans or transfer case. At the cluster is where the pulse signal for the ECM is generated. Gizmo at the cable end. Probably doesn't matter where the pulse comes from as long as you can access the signal and it's the right frequency. They make boxes that can splice into the line and are adjustable. You can match the VSS signal from one side and convert that to what the ecm wants from the other side. I might even still have one around here.

I don't think that will help me. My transmission is from a 2000 Camaro, and it has an electronic VSS in the tailshaft housing. I want this signal to run a speedo in an Isuzu gauge cluster. I assume I will have to modify the signal. As a starting point I am looking for any Isuzu cluster, with an electronic speedo, that will fit in my 1989 pickup dash
