1995 3.2 L Rodeo S, 5 spd manual 4x4 transmission question

Postby steve357 » Tue May 02, 2017 12:29 pm

After 334k miles, my transmission gave up the ghost. The main shaft bearing had been noisy for a while and it finally failed. I'm having a really difficult time finding a replacement transmission for the 5 speed manual, 4x4, 3.2 L V6. My Rodeo is an early 1995 and I'm wondering if the 1995.5-97 manual 4x4 transmission is compatible. I love my Rodeo and I'm not ready to give it up- I bought it new and it has been a tank for 20+ years...

Thanks,

Greg

try http://www.car-part.com/
wow thats a lot of miles.
the 95 should have the mua5 which should be the same all the way to 97.

98 and after the tcase was push button. It would work, but you would need the wiring and actuators
but i bet you can find a decent mua5 for the rodeo you have.

Awesome- thanks for the reply!

And yes, a bunch of miles. But it the engine still runs like a champ and everything else works great...
