Radiator FAN REPLACEMENT

Postby Tg16 » Fri Apr 28, 2017 12:05 am

Anyone know where to get a new radiator fan ????

I just looked at mine and it's shredded and missing half of each blade.

No Debris or anything in engine bay.

Just most of fan missing.

Cannot find it at any parts store

Rockauto.com lists a complete radiator fan assembly for 2000 Trooper for about $100.

as we all know the 2000 TROOPER does not have an electric engine Fan.

I am looking for the PLASTIC Engine fan that mounts to the Clutch.

I didn't. My 2000 Amigo had a single , two speed electric fan. So I guess our Isuzu's come with a variety of cooling systems.
1990 Amigo, 2.3 5 speed (sold)
1991 Pick up (long gone)
2000 Amigo, 2.2 5 speed(sold)
1985 Trooper 1.9 4 speed (sent back to KS)
1989 Trooper RS 2.6 5 spd. Red

We get too soon old and too late smart!

I was able to find one on eBay from a junkyard in WA state (im in NJ) when I needed to replace mine for my 1997. I couldn't find it new anywhere for a reasonable price.

NO ON THE 92 -97 FANS THEY ARE ALL RIGHT HAND TURNING FANS, LOOKING AT THEM FROM THE FRT , THEY ROTATE THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE ENG , 98 AND LATER THE FANS TURN BACKWARDS, TO ENG DIRECTION , SO MIXING THEM IN EITHER CASE WILL CAUSE THE ENG TO RUN HOT, YOU HAVE TO LOOK REALLY CLOSE AT BOTH SIDE BY SIDE TO SEE THE ANGLE OF THE BLADE DIFF,
