1st Isuzu, so far so good

Postby adam83 » Mon May 15, 2017 6:02 pm

HI, I just picked up a 94 rodeo with the 3.2 v6 and 4x4. It has power locks and windows. 200,000 miles but runs good, and I only paid 400 for it. The teenage girl it was bought for took a corner too sharp and scraped the bottom of the driver door and the rocker panel in. Only the bottom of the door and the rocker panel bent in (no frame damage or any other damage). Even the drivers window goes up and down all the way! I love 1991-95 Pathfinders and this Isuzu was very similar in feel and power and capabilities, so for the cost of a junkyard door and a few hours work, 400 was a small price to pay.

Ill post pics later. right now I need to get some minor issues sorted out. see ya on the forums.

Welcome to the zoo Adam! 400 bucks is a steal for a running and shifting Rodeo, and there are lots of them in the bone yards these days, so cheap and readily available parts too. You did good! Looking forward to seeing some pictures and following your progress on the new ride.

Thanks. I like this rig so far, and yes its probably in its junkyard hayday. Im dealing with several issues with the rodeo, but none that couldnnt be expected after 200k miles of unkown previous owners.
