Ordered lift springs...

Postby JAXCO » Tue Apr 25, 2017 9:29 am

Ordered moog cc784 coil springs from autoplicity.
With code "30OFFSHIPPING" came to $66.17.
I really should get it registered in my name or hell... Running. But am so stoked thinking about lifting it that I pulled the trigger.
Current: Non Running Green 2001 Rodeo Sport 4x4 Hardtop. Traded a Ruger 22/45 pistol for rolling chassis. I need a cheap working engine. Radiator and a ridiculous amount of parts sitting inside truck waiting for it to have life breathed into it and tons of TLC.

RIP-/Black 1999 Amigo 4x4 on 35's (rolled in thunderstorm, total loss by insurance company.)

Sold- 1995 Trooper on 33's. Repeated engine trouble after purchase due to disreputable car dealership.

RIP Green 1998 Amigo 4x4 Soft top on 32's. One of the first lifted isuzu Amigo's in Planetisuzoo. Followed Chris Perosi's write up once it hit the internet. Purchased new in 1998 from Dealer. Deceased March 2000, killed by freight train (I was young and stupid offroading, got stuck on train tracks...)

Good luck.

You should add your vehicle to your signature or at least state what you are lifting. I like the Moog Cc812s on my 1995 Trooper.

I am running Monromatic shocks and stock brake lines.
The Cc812s lifted my Trooper about 2.25". The handling is greatly improved.

No idea on the rear shocks yet. open to suggestions.
front shocks will probably remain stock.
springs will be going in rear of 2001 rodeo sport 4x4 v6 auto hardtop. Guess I also need to get a bent rod for the rear over the gas tank... always wondered what that thunk was (previous amigos.)

That spring will give you almost 4.5" of lift on a rodeo sport after you cut the pigtail off. If you don't have a bent link and a longer rear brake line they will both be at the max with those springs. You wont get a clunk it will just be resting on the gas tank. And the brake line might be taught just sitting there.
