Got some canoeing in at a remote lake in Adams County, ID.

Very difficult 4x4 trail to get in, but we were rewarded with plenty of 14 - 16" Rainbows and Cutthroat

Just make sure that you don't selfie-stick AND Zoo w/ a Canoe! Leave that to the Jeep guys. If you want to understand this "Jeep Thing," check out this link:

Took the rodeo and the canoe out scouting for ducks today. Finally got to get a picture of my canoe and an Isuzu!!!

The downside was that my canoe was about 3" wider than the roof rack. I had it loaded upside on the way out and it kept shifting. I put it right side up afterwards but it shifted around too... I'm not sure what I'll have to do to keep it stable.

took the canoe out this weekend. Finally got a picture. In my opinion it suites the trooper pretty well.

Great stuff folks. Keep 'em coming.
These links have write-ups and pics of most anything you ever will do on a 2.6 Isuzu. Engine, brakes, suspension, interior, you name it! Enjoy!

ARG been trying to find my pictures of my Jocassee Kayak on top of my Rodeo and I think they are all in the other laptop that crashed last year.

Nice to see so many Water Babies in this Forum too.
My Kayak has been in some of the best lakes and rives the US has to offer over the last 15 years.

If I find any I'll post them up to share.

In case you guys don't know the Jocassee, it's a 3 seater. Actually a 2 adult and room for a dog or kid in the center.
I usually strap the cooler in the middle.
One big hole with a three hole spray skirt. It's 17 feet long so it hangs over both the front and rear of the Rodeo.

Was once coming home in a rain storm after the wife and I had spent a week Kayaking the White and Buffalo Rivers in Missouri and Arkansas when the truck started acting top heavy coming out of the mountains.
I had tied the boat down right side up when we loaded it, but the spray skirt had gotten loose and fell inside the boat. When I stopped in Little Rock for gas I climbed up to check on the spray skirt and found my kayak almost 1/2 full of water. It was so much, I had to use the coffee pot to dip out enough water to be able to flip the boat over and dump the water out.

Lesson learned the hard way!
Cut it, hack it, weld it, make it better!
