96 Isuzu Trooper...P0118 Temperature Sensor

Postby 1Twin » Sat Jan 09, 2016 11:54 pm

I have a 1996 Isuzu Trooper with a P0118 (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit High Voltage) code. Yes, I do know that it's a bad temperature sensor. Yes, I do know that it's behind the engine near the fire wall. But does anyone know how to fix it without taking the entire Intake off? Is there a tool that can probably get behind there with ease, because I have really big hands and I just don't see it happening. Its just really been bugging me because I can't get Emissions done in ATL without clearing this code?????

Easy peasy!Unbolt the transmission crossmember and jack the transmission as high as it will go. PROPS TO JERRY LEMOND!
