1993 Amigo project / parts PRICE DROP!!!!!!

Postby DSUZU » Tue Jan 10, 2017 1:03 pm

This is a TWO WHEEL DRIVE. I picked up this 1993 Amigo to get the engine. I also wanted to save it from the boneyard. It is a base model with 2 wheel drive, but it does have the factory big wheel package. 5 Speed trans included (NOT automatic). Overall, body is very straight, but it does have some rust (see pictures of roof and floor hole). Both sides of the roof and several spots in the floor. Frame is VERY nice, minimal flaking. Frame also has mounting places for FWD, so you could easily convert this to a 4x4. Fairly new brakes. I actually drove it around the block. What you see is what you get - 5 snowflakes and all. PLUS a bull bar (disassembled and in back. A/c is all there and seems to have a full charge. Power steering pump is inside car.
What is NOT included: Engine, clutch, alternator, VSV switching valves. Radiator is included, a starter that may be bad. Interior is so-so with back seat having the back pretty sun bleached and torn, but front is good. Front seats "fair". rubber floor covering is shot. Hard top could use some work (latches and weather seals), but not damaged.
I have the title, but the buyer will be responsible for any title transfer expenses (it's signed over to me, but not in my name (maybe 100.00 in Florida gouge transfer fees and an affidavit saying I don't want the car). I want only 300.00 for what you see here. I got a good deal and I want to pass it along here. I can negotiate a little, but it means I might keep a few things. I'm working evenings this week, so I will check PMs in the morning. Here's the catch: WIFE WANTS IT GONE FAST. Like within a week - two at most otherwise it goes to the boneyard, and I don't want to see that. Respond by PM. Fastest response, leave me a contact number. remember, want it gone fast. Located in Tampa Bay area Florida. Dennis

Dennis,
If you were only closer. I could certainly use the complete A/C system, and I sold 5 snowflakes last summer for 200, so it's a good buy for someone....Harry

That hard top really needs to be saved. If you end up scrapping the Amigo, PLEASE hang onto that top! :)

Now going DIRT CHEAP - or going to the boneyard. Besides engine, alternator, radiator (but one available), I have taken: hood, rear differential (but another very useable 4.56 chunk swapped back in), rear calipers, driveshaft (but negotiable), Fuel pump (but tank goes with truck). YOU GET: TWO WHEEL DRIVE Amigo body, 5 speed manual (2wd) trans, FIVE snowflakes, complete A/C - still holding R134A charge, HARDTOP. Appears to be newer clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder, Fairly recent COMPLETE exhaust - including catalytic converter. Take it quick and ALL of this for 150.00. YES! Just 150.00 and tow it away. I know I can get that much or more from the yard, but offering it here first. Or I keep the exhaust and 125.00. Contact me through here. Dennis
Again: hood, engine, rear calipers, radiator, and fuel pump are missing, but it is still a roller. D.

Didn't make it clear. This comes with a full set of FIVE 15 snowflakes - caps and all. The wheels alone are worth more than that. Dennis
