Very clean inside and out. Sunroof. Professionally lifted 3 inches with ball joint flip. 35" BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires.

Very nice rig! But I am looking for one that has not been lifted.

You're looking for a needle in the haystack, not saying that it can't be found, but, some ?'s to answer that might help the Planet community find this needle.

1. What's the top price you'll pay for it (no sense in posting a $10,000 Amigo if you only want to spend...) :dontknow:

2. What's your finders fee?

3. You say color and mileage are not important nor is distance , correct?

4. Are you willing to do any work to it or are you looking for a "turn key" Amigo?

5. What are you doing to find this Amigo, (i.e., searching Craigslist / other classifieds), or are you depending on the Planet community to find it?

Hopefully by answering these questions, you'll be able to find this needle... good luck.

1. What's the top price you'll pay for it? I'm thinking somewhere around 6,000. But if there's some super rare 'barn find' with 25,000 miles, I would pay more.

2. What's your finders fee? Probably 10%

3. You say color and mileage are not important nor is distance , correct? Correct. However, if it is some crazy bad color, (teal/coral) it would be repainted, and value would be impacted somewhat.

4. Are you willing to do any work to it or are you looking for a "turn key" Amigo? Turn key is a must. That is why I am being patient looking for the right truck.

5. What are you doing to find this Amigo, (i.e., searching Craigslist / other classifieds), or are you depending on the Planet community to find it? I use AllOfCraigs.com everyday, AutoTrader.com everyday, and FaceBook.... Everyday!

Buy Scout's Amigo...The lift can easily be removed returning the suspension to stock height and some components sold along with the 35's. Buy some 31's and you are ready to go. That is a beautiful amigo, don't kick yourself later for turning it down over something so minor as the lift.

I actually spoke to the guy in Columbus a few months ago. He's selling it for his sister, but she's had 2 accidents in it. One was when she hit an animal, (no biggie for me) but the other was when she sideswiped a guardrail, resulting in the whole passenger side being caved in. Rear quarter and door are full of bondo.

This is about as close to your 25,000 mile barn find wish as you can get. 30,000Km is about 18,600 miles

Not sure if this is an XS model, but the rest looks to fit the bill. Looks like clear coat is going too

I almost bought that one! The guy is really nice, and it is a nice truck, but it's not the XS package. But someone who knows what it is should absolutely buy this one, before it ends up in the woods.

If you can't find a great Amigo, think of a Trooper RS which is built on the same frame and has the same turning radius and engine. Advantage: better cargo room and sits up a bit higher. I'm selling one and will post it here shortly: 1 owner, 1989 Trooper RS, 100% stock, near mint cond., runs perfectly, 333k.

I appreciated Victor, but I am only looking for a first gen 4x4 XS Amigo.
I had one in college, and I absolutely loved it.

The one from GT Preowned, is actually the exact same one from Columbus that was mentioned here in July. (Selling for his sister, hit a deer & guardrail, and is full of body filler down one side. But now that it's at the dealership, it's $2500 more than the guy offered it to me for.

It took me over 2 years to find my 1984 CJ7, so I don't mind holding out until I find the right one. Thanks for thinking of me.

Still going. That's a super nice rig! Not an XS, but I'm still going to reach out to the guy tomorrow. I wonder how much it would cost to chrome the bumpers.?.?.
