The one in NY does not have a straight panel on it. The owner said 'even the roof is dented up'. The one in Ohio has had 2 accidents, (one was a side-swipe of a guard rail, and the whole side had to be 'repaired')
Sadly, the search continues....

I don't know what you are looking for. You have turned down some decent amigos. I have a clean 91 XS 4x4 that has virtually every bushing and wearable part replaced and has bilstien shocks, indy tie rods, spare engine etc. etc. I told you about a few months ago and you showed no interest at all...

Hey Theo - You certainly have a nice rig, but I'm looking for something stock, and the Rino-lined tub pushes it to far into the 'modded' status for me. Honestly, I'm looking for SUPER CLEAN, more than just a decent one.

I'll keep my eyes open but you are looking for a 25 year old 4X4 the majority of which have been used off road and in bad weather. Its hard enough to find one with a rust free frame let alone super clean body.

you have no excuses, dont complain. it has everything you wanted, (assuming you wanted Coral ) it is local to you, unmolested, and I am pretty sure it is made of solid gold

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/cto/5720183113.html
Original owner. 4WD. 204k miles. New clutch, new soft top, new tires. Just serviced - tune up, oil change, etc. Great Shape - garage kept. Color: coral reef. Runs great!

Admins close this tread as I am sure he will buy it....

This is absolutely the right truck, but the guy is in ga-ga land, and thinks he's going to get $10,000! (Oh, and he prefers 100 dollar bills) I'm going to keep watching this one, and hopefully he gets realistic.

Price is crazy, but your search has also proved what a unicorn it is. I would let the guy know how serious you are with. healthy offer and then tell him you would appreciate first right of refusal if he holds out for another offer.

Here is another one at better price though it doesn't quite meet your stock setup request.

I have one.
1989 Isuzu Amigo XS with large 2.6 liter 4 cylinder engine. Approximately 130 hp. Hard to find First Generation Amigo XS Four by Four in excellent shape. Very straight body. Runs great. Very clean inside and out. Sunroof. Professionally lifted 3 inches with ball joint flip. 35" BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. Used as a daily driver. Never off road. Power steering, no rust. Shifts well with no problems or synchro damage. Both differentials have been re-geared for the oversized tires and it runs like a stock Amigo. I drove it here from North Carolina at 70-75 on the freeway. It has all the XS options: Chrome bumpers, mirrors, better dash with tach, chrome grill, etc. Brand new convertible top, new Autocraft Silver battery, many replaced parts: $1400 in brake work including disc pads, rotors and calipers, (it's 4 wheel disc brakes), plugs, cold A/C, clean seats with no tears, replaced back seat, new spare tire and new polished American Racing rim, new drop hitch. Replaced exhaust manifold. New mats and carpets, rear rubber flooring, high intensity driving lights, wipers and blades, Bully steps. New plugs and wires, etc. Odometer was replaced at about 160K because it quit. This one shows 204K but actually has about 165K, title reads odometer exempt. All dash buttons were also replaced and have no cracks, neither does the dash. New Grant steering wheel and chrome exhaust tip. AM/FM with CD, new speakers. All registration and license fees are current. Very good running little truck that turns heads everywhere. $4200.
It's posted here and on eBay and on Sarasota Craigslist
