I don't believe I will be making this trip. Other stuff has come up and I'm not in a position to drive 7 hours in the new to me rodeo just yet.

I will be back one day!

Sorry you can't make it. Looks like the weather at this point is looking good. Mid 80's and partly cloudy the whole time. Good fishing weather!

I'm pretty sure I'll need to delay my arrival until Thursday morning thanks to work, so if anyone wants to stay at site 38 on Wednesday night please feel free (it's already been paid for).

Weather is still looking very warm to down right hot. At least Wednesday! Thursday is looking like we may see some monsoon like rains and thunderstorms but that should be the only day to threaten with rain. Maybe very late Wednesday night some showers start.

Does anyone have a set of diff brackets for 88-94 Amigo, 90-92 Rodeo, 88-91 Trooper, 88-95 P'up, laying around they could bring to URE this week/weekend. I need to build a set to go to Australia and don't have any cores left.

Smitty and I will plan to roll out late Thursday morning from Richmond. That should put us down there early afternoon just in time for the afternoon thunderstorms.

I need anyone who has not sent me a PM who will be there Friday night to let me know if you are in or out for dinner. I am going grocery shopping tonight, and want to make sure to get enough.

Thanks,

I just dropped my truck off at the alignment shop to get her aligned up since the last suspension mods. I did a last minute torsion crank to even it out on both sides and saw my new purolator oil filter is leaking ever so slightly although it's nice and tight. It's not even a month or so old. Always something...

Anyone got a vacuum pump and manifold/guages they don't mind bringing so I can charge my A/C on the cheap? I am really just afraid it isn't going to work after all the crap I replaced and don't want to pay a shop $80 to do it.

I'm unfortunately going to be able to make it out due to a somewhat unexpected loss in my family yesterday. I've cancelled my reservation for site 38 which was for Wednesday through Sunday so this should be available if someone wants or needs it. I hope everyone has a safe and fun-filled trip, and look forward to seeing the pictures and videos.

Sorry to hear about about your loss Jonathan and hope to see you out there in the fall (if not sooner).

Thursday should be a wet one so be prepared...

If anyone wants to try their hand at gold panning, I'll be doing some probably on Friday.

Everyone have a safe trip. :D

Shaggy, sorry to hear of your loss... and i'm sure we all hope to see (meet) you in the fall!

My wife just drove off in "my" trooper - hers is having ignition switch issues, so we swapped -- hopefully i can get that sorted out so i can still at least swing down there on Saturday! but since mine just got called up for "daily driver duty" it might be a hard-sell to take it trail riding... i'm not exactly sure what the deal is with hers... bad keys (poor copies) + many years = difficult to get the ignition to rotate... but she's saying "it won't start" even when she finally gets it to turn...? hmmm... fun fun...
