That's not a Sasquatch. We don't have tails. Sasquatch's have beards! Even the baby's and girls.
But I'll give you points for trying.
I was going to congratulate Lorenzo on the birth of his new offspring!

You guys are killing me. I need a URE trip bad right now. But it's impossible before spirng. If I get real lucky maybe a Dec GW trip.

Would you expect anything less from the Isuzu crowd?

Thanks Shaggy, I took the black and gray water tanks to Uwharrie in April but Bansil didn't make it. If we make it in Nov. we'll be in the van and no room in there for used sewer tanks HA HA.

The event is next week. Due to scheduling conflicts it is being held later this year. So you still have time to make it and get the monkey story first hand.

Postby Van » Tue Oct 28, 2014 12:25 pm

Almost 1 week and counting, down to the preparation crunch week.

Last 4 days I've been trying to get things ready, but NOOOOOO. The wife wants the kitchen painted (including the cabinets), so I've been busy getting colors and painting.

Yesterday morning I woke up with the intention of getting some things done to the camper and truck. Something made me think of Rick Flair's famous "Woo"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CyRiwED7s8 (didn't realize he was that old).

I thought that if I said "Woo, I'm going camping" 3 times (with more enthusiasm each time), that I would be able to finally get some camping prep work done.

The wife woke up and (once again) said "No, I don't like those colors". So yesterday I ended up at the paint store getting some more colors (I didn't realize that painting was so "technical" after listening to some of the folks that came into the store... lacquer, latex, industrial paint, sheen, gloss, primer, etc., etc.,). :?

She came home and nope, wasn't the right color. That's about the time I started off on her... "Woo, I'm going camping." as I walked away shaking my head.

This morning, back down to the paint store, came home with 3 different colors and what happens, either they didn't put the lid on tight enough on one of the containers or gravity is pretty powerful. One quart of grey paint splattered over the kitchen as it hit the floor. :|

Hope your preparations are going better then mine... Woo, I'm going camping. :D

LOL!!

My Trooper is ready to go unless I bust something when I'm out there this Thursday, the only maintenance/repair item I'm hoping to get to is on Zoe's Trooper - the turning radius has been limited ever since I put in a replacement steering gear so I need to figure out if it needs adjusting or replacing. :dontknow: I'm not sure how much time she's going to want to spend behind the wheel this trip, but figure I'll get it sorted out so it's solid if she finds her mojo again and wants to go all ham on it.

Van, a husband can never win when it comes to painting or hanging pictures. The former is NEVER the right color (it didn't look that way in the store) and the latter are never straight despite what the level tells you.
