Jeff, appreciate you posting the pictures of you and your little guy. Obviously injured, but great to see him out and about!
Multiple surgery's etc. and the pictures of your Amigo didn't paint a very pretty picture so really thankful his injuries aren't any worse.

Good News

Postby Ditchdoc » Thu Jul 02, 2009 9:39 pm

Good News :!: I've contacted the forum administrators on two other sites to see if it was ok to post a link to our fund raising effort, Midwest Isuzu Off-Road ( http://www.mwior.com ), and pirate4x4 ( www.pirate4x4.com/forum/ ) .

I received a reply from MWIOR administrator today and he said:
boonie45 MWIOR Zu Master wrote: That's no problem at all. Absolutely go ahead and post up.

I haven't heard from the Pirate 4x4 admin yet... Once I post up on MWIOR I'll post a link here..... EDIT: Here's the link: http://mwior.com/forum/index.php?topic=522.0

I plan on contacting 4x4wire tonight and I asked Lorenzo to check with the guys on NC4x4.com..

I'll keep you guys posted.

Jeff, you and Collin are looking good, thanks for the pic and update..

I went by the State Police impound lot to get my pistol, stereo and other things out of the Amigo and took a few pictures of the mangled up zoo'.

My pistol was inside the dash! From all of the rolling around it left the glove box and was wedged in between the dash and firewall.

This is what I think is the point of impact. The dude kinda gave me the PIT maneuver.

Hey hey! Thank all of you guys so much. And thanks to all of those from North Carolina for there thoughts, prayers and donations.
Planetisuzoo has been there for me like a family,
Who knew people from an online forum would band together for a fellow member while in dire straights...
The donations are still coming in and have all been very generous and much appreciated!

My son Colin is doing well and in time, will make a full recovery both mentally and physically.
Colin and I went on a mini getaway a couple weekends back, we went up to Port Angeles, WA and just took it easy.
We came across this monster truck

He is doing great, Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers!

Oh yeah, I got my payoff for my "total loss" of my Isuzu.... I guess the folks at Progressive Insurance just don't appreciate an Isuzu or see the value they possess

You don't have to take whatever little money they offer. Insurance companies usually start with a "low ball" figure. I believe they are required to replace your vehicle with one that is worth as much as what yours was worth before the crash.
Have you already accepted their offer?

Hey guys, I've been in Ft. Benning for the last 3 months at infantry school.
Colin is doing real well. His scars are improving every week!

On another note, my wedding; set on December 26th has been called off.
My duty station is Schofield Barracks in Honolulu Hawaii 25th Infantry Division, and sadly I will be going alone and single..... this could be interesting 8)

Thanks again for everything Planetisuzoo members!

Oh, I still don't have a vehicle to replace my busted up Amigo. I'm going to wait until I get to Hawaii. I'm sure there will be some good wheelin' there!

Opelfrontera... I haven't been on the forums much until recently. I'm glad to hear that Colin and yourself are making a full recovery, and am very sorry that the suburu put you through so much... I'm glad that you are open to the idea that people all across America can pray and show remorse. The funny thing is... When you came to Port Angeles, Washington... You were a half hour to my house! Ironic!

Merry Christmas!
I'm so glad to hear the story of this forum ended happily.
