That's a good idea, if someone decides to post on other fourms make sure you post something here to let us know, that way we don't get multiple posts about this on other sites...

Jeff, as teh dad of two boys not much older than yours, I can understand a little about what you are going through. My wife t-boned a car that pulled out in front of her a few years back. 15 year old with a learner's permit. No one was seriously hurt, though the girl's mom spent the night in the hospital. The call I got from my wife sent chills down my spine. She had both boys in the Cherokee with her and for a few seconds, life stood still.

Fortunately, none of my family was hurt and the first responders kinda chuckled at my boys trying to get them to sound the horns when things calmed down a bit. Still, NOT a fun thing to go through as a parent, so I am sure you guys have a lot more stress than I ever had to go through.

I am really glad Colin is doing better and I will add you guys to my prayers.

Also, as soon as that PayPal link goes up, I will be adding something to help you guys out.

Tell Colin a lot of folks he will likely never meet have him in our prayers and will be sending him some stuff very soon!

If anyone knows the address and room number of the hospital where Colin is at, send me a note to my e-mail address: [email protected]. I have something I would like to send to the little fella!

WHOA!

I haven't been on in awhile and all hell broke loose. Jeff, so glad to hear that you're alright. when i read the post a minute ago my heart kinda sunk, especially since i think i'm the only one on the forum that's actually met ya.

WHEW...the article kind of sucked because they didn't even mention what happened to the driver of the Amigo. But nevertheless, thank your lucky stars everyone is alright. I'm up in Seattle so if you need anything, PM me.

86tdtrooper wrote:our prayers to him and his family. i read some of the comments on the bottom his 14yr old nephew posted a comment. some people were sort of trying to defend the guy.

He was speeding because he wanted to get his dog to the vet after his dog had been hit by a different driver. The guy was drunk trying to save his dog and the people trying to defend him are more defending his love for his dog than for his inept decision making process which resulted in the terrible crash. My family will be praying for his families peace.

I hope everyone on here can spare a couple bucks for this family. I'm sure they'll be back and forth from home to the hospital, even the fuel bill will start to seem big after a while. They haven't asked for anything but I guarantee that they will be grateful, lets make this an example of how we help our own!

I'll be praying for your son to have the strength, both physical and mental, to get through this.

Keep your chin up,
Chris

Thank you all who have contributed to bettering my situation.
As of July first my son's mom and I have hired an Attorney to go after the ---- ball who crashed into my Amigo,

I just want to thank god for sparing the lives of Kamron, Colin and my self in this devastating crash.

Now I must give a shout out to the following PLANETISUZOO members who have pulled through to help another human being.

And all of those who donated for the sake of my son, Thank you very very very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
