Will do!

It seems there is nothing that makes a grown man feel so powerless as when his child is ill or hurting.

Not that this isn't an important thread, but since this is now Issue Resolved, as we like to say at Sprint, could this thread be moved to the Hall of Fame so we can look at what our community did to help one of ours in a time of need and make space for current threads?

Not at all complaining, but as a forum admin on other sites, older threads gumming up the homepage tend to turn away folks that are freshly registered.

Just food for thought, pls don't flame, and thank the lord above that everything worked out kind of all right.

Re: Planet Solidarity

Postby EricJette » Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:06 pm
Hey hey! Thank all of you guys so much. And thanks to all of those from North Carolina for there thoughts, prayers and donations.
Planetisuzoo has been there for me like a family,
Who knew people from an online forum would band together for a fellow member while in dire straights...
The donations are still coming in and have all been very generous and much appreciated!
Jeff aka "opelfrontera",

All this happened before my time on the "planet", and I hope Colin has made a full and speedy recovery.

As a fairly new member of this forum, I joined because of the interactions and attitude among members willing to part with a little free technical advice, and now that I've read this thread I'm even more impressed with the concern among the membership in times of crisis.

I gather you signed up to serve this country, and thank you for serving!...and I suspect you had proof positive what a "band of brothers" is all about before you even finished basic.

No doubt in my mind that I've come to the right place. Though I gotta knock on wood and say I hope no one ever feels the need to open a paypal account to help me out in dire staits, it's good to know there is solidarity on this planet.

If you get a chance, post an update and let folks know how you and family are doing these days, along with some pics of your new ride, of course. (grin)

Best,

EJ

I think there are issues with this site, or it's server at this time. I tried posting one and it didn't work either.
