New (?) pizza cutters from Interco

Postby paulevans76 » Mon Nov 07, 2016 3:05 pm

Just happened to see that Interco now makes their revised TSL/SX II in 33x9.5, 35x10, and 37x12 sizes for 15, 16, and 17" wheels: http://www.intercotire.com/tire/148 Not sure how long those sizes have been out, to be honest, but last I checked I hadn't noticed them.

There's even a set of 4 of the 35x10/16's in their blem inventory for pretty reasonable: http://www.intercotire.com/blem_list_0 (<- handy link to check every once in a while, FYI)

I wouldn't suggest them for street use beyond driving to and from the trail, but they are a proven leader in super tough, high-performance off pavement tires, especially on the east coast and the PNW areas that see a lot of mixed terrain. I'd also consider the 35x10 about as big and heavy as you'd want to put your IFS through, as you'll be putting a significant strain on your steering system, not to mention your poor CV's :blackeye:

Yea they have always been there. They are one of the few that makenskinny tires but they are too agressive. I thing your best bet is a metric size tire on a 16" rim. You can get a 33 or 35 tire less that 10" wide that way

Off the road for an overhaul right now.

They've had the tsl, ssr, tsl radial, ltb and boggers in various skinny sizes, but the sx2's are all pretty recent releases, as the sx2 redesign is only a few years old.

Just throwing these out there as another "larger" pizza cutter option, since the metrics are usually 31-33" tall and only for 16" wheels.
