After several days of driving on freeways and on mountain twisty roads I can confirm my original impressions - the new Cooper tires are softer, quieter, more comfortable but heavier than the half-worn Bridgestone AT Revo.
Additionally, I can say that the Cooper feels better planted and more stable on freeways, although their speed rating is lower than Bridgestone's.
I'll learn how they behave on gravel, sand and rocky trails over this weekend.
I had a chance to use them today on a very familiar windy wet mountain road, for about 15 miles. It behaves better on that road than any other tire on any other vehicle that I've tried.
My vehicle has been upgraded - ABS removed - but it never slipped in any wet sharp turn, as I used to with other tires and other vehicles.
