She won't be able to make the Moab trip this year because of needing a new clutch (among other things). But I've promised to do her up right as soon as I have the shop set up.

More to come. ...

Well we will have to get together and do a ride up Farmington Canyon when the road opens at the end of May. It always fun to see these rigs get out and see some trail time.

It's time again to breath some life into this thread. The Trooper is apart (Again) for some luvin. I'm set do the diff drop. Is there a good thread in this install? It looks like the one in our "Hall of Fame" has lost most of the original write-up somehow.

How much lift have you done ? I was just talking about these the other day , you can just shim the mount locations down especially the front ones since they're further forward it helps drop it down prettt easy ... then just add a couple washers on the rear mounts ..

It's enough lift to cause the CV shafts to eat boots in a short period.
I have a set of what appear to be DOR diff drop brackets, that a bought from a member here a while ago.

It's fairly easy to drop everything down (unbolted brackets) , upper ball joint , tierod end ... Then tip the passenger side hub out and unplug the stub axle from the spindle , then unbolt the four bolts going into the housing and unplug that whole assembly ... next remove the bolts on the other side (drivers side) and slide the whole center mass to the passenger side unplugging the axle ... to change the drivers side bracket you'll have to pull that hub off too so you can get the assembly out , then if the boots need redone you'll have them out to work on ...
