Nice 4x4, looks like it's getting set up well.
Curious, what size are the tyres?

These are 285/75/R16 Falken Wildpeak ATW3's. No lift on the truck currently.

Bolted up my Yakima Spareride. I think that with the 33" tire, Spareride, and a bike, I am probably pushing the upper limit of what the tire carrier can support.

Thanks! They are just stock steel wheels.

Did you use four or six of the Surco bolt on adapters for mounting that full size basket? If you used only four (two on each side rear and front what is supporting the load in the middle, and what if any modifications did you make to the front adapters to account for the angle cant caused by the roof curvature?

I used 4. I would recommend 6, but the problem becomes that you end up with a spare pair of brackets and a crossbar you cannot use since you have to buy the brackets in a box of 4, and the bars are sold in pairs.
It's a good observation, and its the same reason I never really used the basket to hold a load.

At this point, I am actually selling the Isuzu to purchase a 7.3 Excursion 4WD, so I am taking the basket off for the Excursion.
