I have really enjoyed wrenching and bleeding and from time to time driving my 1990 trooper
But as with all things I have found a new love to drag in the shop . Since I owned my 1st pick up in high school
I've always wanted a 60's early 70's c-10 built the way I want it. While all that was still a few yrs off . I ran into an old friend who had a short bed step side 67 250 inline 6 three on the tree that shifts like I always imagined a new one would like butter

The interior is horrible I pressure washed it 3 times and still had rodent poo and nest material inside.
The lights all need desired we were able to wire head and break lights as a stand alone for now but will be doing much more work later on
1990 trooper 2.6 msd6al ignition system msd turned "out to junk" blaster ll coil accel wires iridium NGK plugs 5 speed new head brake rotors and brakes 16" wheels new tires. new axles new clutch, flywheel, clutch master and slave cylinder all new ball joints 95 trooper front seats and turbo coming soon

You can't go wrong on most any older chev. pick-up. I would buy an older one if one ever presented itself. I had a short wide 78 that I absolutely loved many years ago. Had the 350, 4 barrel carb set up and got around 12 miles per gallon no matter how I drove it, but I still loved it. The possibilities for yours are endless. And there going up in resale every day.

We get too soon old and too late smart!

Cool beans!
I learned to drive in a herd of 60's Chevys with the 250 and 3 speed. I think it was 63, 65, and 67 pickups and a 66 El Camino. And a couple of extra engines... When one started getting wore out just limp it to the big tree down by the creek with the chain hoist in it and swap the best engine in. We could get it done in about a half hour.

Great engines, can take a beating.
