Would you trust a 23 year old tire to get you down the road reliably? Otherwise, just a bit pricey, imho! Wonder what the grille looks like?

Cheers,

He's only a few miles from me.
As for tires: I don't know what it is with tires lately (actually I DO - they found another way to screw us). I have a motorcycle that had new tires out on it some 26 years ago. been stored basically inside and they are still like new. The tires I put on the front of my mower - less than 8 years ago are already cracked to the point they don't hold air. And it's been pretty much kept indoors. Go figure Dennis

Laughing, I don't think the second Gen's are in big demand by collectors, and it has 135k on it. I still see first Gen's with equal or less miles, and they aren't really collectible either. Both are bought to be built and used. For 17 grand I can buy a bunch of first Gen's and still have the cash to put at least one truck together that will make this one wet its britches.

I'm guessing you're all missing the point. If my wife ever said "You really have to sell that truck", I'd be doing exactly the same thing. "Baby, I listed it on Craigslist but nobody has called."

And just as Dennis said: "Ain't gonna happen."

Man, I must be rich with two old Zus.

I think the guy is either seriously deranged or trying to buy time with the wife like Jack said.

Jack is right, this guy was probably told to put it for sale by his wife but doesnt really want it gone. No one would seriously think that an S model second gen was worth that. Either that, or he is high as a giraffe's butt. Either way, thanks for sharing the ad, its hilarious.
