Spotted: Sum of all Fears Troopers

Postby Ed Mc. » Wed Dec 09, 2015 2:27 am

Could have sworn I saw this posted here, but did a search and couldn't find anything. I had read the book but never seen the movie. Thanks, Netflix!

Did some screen grabs of a convoy of (3) Gen I Troopers. Also a round-eye grill with inboard driving lights, how cool is that! Wonder if that was an option on non-U.S.A. rigs.

Enjoy.........ed

I was just up by the front window in our office trying to hide the wires for the TV and a gold first gen trooper went by towing a trailer. It looked to be in great shape!

Any gold first gen troopers towing trailers around Main St in Chattanooga?

I spotted this one in Lowes parking lot in Salisbury tonight after we got out of a movie. Check out that cow killer bumper on it. Does it belong to anyone on here?

Took the rodeo and my boy down to the hospital to see my wife at work last Saturday for our "snow day." This rodeo was in the parking lot so I parked next to it.

Look at all that snow...

I found these pics when I was organizing my picture folders. This was taken when I was out in Washington with the Red Cross helping the disaster relief for the OSO mudslides back in 2014.

Found this when I was on my way to Darrington. Check out those gas prices!

This Trooper was taken when I was stationed at Darrington Community Center.

Pretty sure this isn't an Isuzu (could be?) just thought it was an awesome van.

And unrelated but, have a photo of a Washington morning.

Looked into the van as it has now piqued my interest. Apparently it is a 1991 Mitsubishi Delica with a Chamonix trim: http://seattlesparkedcars.blogspot.com/ ... wagon.html

Both vans are cool. The Toyota HiAce looks almost the exact same.

Yeah, I've seen that exact van parked in Portland, can verify it's a Mitsu Delica. It is super cool.

And for the low low price of $8000 you can have your very own Isuzu pickup that will subsequently need another $8000 in mods so you don't feel bad driving a 2wd. On a serious note that would be a sweet truck to SAS and turn into an Overland rig. Cool find.
