washer reservoir cap

Postby shing02 » Wed May 10, 2017 1:57 am

hello, new to this forum.

I need to replace the windshield washer water reservoir cap on my 1999 Rodeo.

Where can I purchase one, and what specs do I need to look for if I'm getting one used?

I've looked online but no luck.

thanks!

Have you tried looking for a Honda passport one? I have a 2001 Rodeo and was able to order the cap off a Honda parts website. cant remember which one though.

There'll be thousands of vehicles who use the same size as Trooper. So take a look around junkyards, as Dan said try Honda Passport, Acura SLX, Rodeo etc.
Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota LandCruiser.. List could go on.

Looks like they are still available at Honda. #8971384520. Here it is on EBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-OEM-Passp ... bH&vxp=mtr

thanks everyone! while I was aware of the rodeo and passport similarities of that era, it was hard to pinpoint with the searches.
I might get it online or try the junkyard I went the other day (grabbed a side mirror that was broken). :)

as suggested above, I ordered this one hoping for a cheap fix but it was too small! (it did say 1 5/8" at bottom but didn't read it)
