Sorry, not much time to search cause I need to get these ASAP, due to wheel problems.

Anyways... Im going to be getting my OEM Isuzu wheels back because new wheels are too expensive locally, and I cant wait for it to be shipped.

What size Revo's will fit on the stock 16x7 wheel?

What size should I get?
I want to do none to minimal trimming. Will 265/75 R16's work?

Thanks in advance.

i think 245/75 16 is most common light truck tire size so it cheapest price. my trooper stock tire is 245/70 16, but previous owner got four 254/75 16 on it and it runs great. price for 245 75 16 is the cheapest tire on discount tire (actually any tire store).

have you decided whether you are getting Light Truck tire or Passenger tire??

Im choosing between passenger tires : hankook ATM rf10 ($109 each + tax) or bridgestone revo 2($130 each +tax , with $100 back AE card)..

Im not sure if im getting LT's or P tires yet. I know the LT's will be better in the long run, but im on a pretty tight budget now that im gona be full time schooling again.

At discount tire its $126.00 for P245/75/16 or $179.00 for the Lt's. That's $212 more for the set of 4 if you go LT. For $21 more each tire you can get 32" LT's

The 32"s are P265/75/16 for $169 or $200 for LT's. So if I went with the 265/75's I would definately grab the Lt's.

..... still deciding :(

I run 255/70/16, and the front rubbed a little. But it wasnt even against the fender. IT was against the mud flaps. I removed those and all was good. What I like about my 255/70/16 is that they fill the wheel wells pretty well.

Dae - I understand cost is a factor in shopping for tires; BELIEVE me I understand.

I have 3 trucks that all take 32" tires in the 16" size; 2 trucks run LT in the 6-ply, and my diesel runs LT in the 10-ply's.

I highly recommend LT - 6 ply, load range C over P-rated tires for the rodeo; they are more expensive but you'll get a lot more mileage out of them.

Ask Discount tire about the Firestone Destination A/T tires, there ratings are just as good as the Revo's, and they're a lot cheaper. You can get them in the LT265/75 as well.

I just went with the LT245/75/16/C Firestone Destnation A/T's instaled at Firestone :D

They only have Revo 2 LT's in "E" rating everywhere I checked, including Bridgestones website. They have "C" rating Destinations in 265/75, but the shops around here wanted $140+ just to cut my fenders, and they're back logged for weeks. It also didnt help that I got pulled over for the 16" crack in my windshield and need to get it replaced. Insurance wont cover it :(

WillyLin, the Hankook ATM LT tires on the discount tire site are "E" load range tires. I would imagine the ride would be wayy rough.

Thanks for the help everyone!! :D

Yes...it's good you did NOT get the load range *E* - adds completely unnecessary weight for a daily driver.

Load range C will suit you just fine, and the Firestone's are superb tires.

Looks good.

Make sure you air those babies up to nothing less then 36-38psi, they'll wear great and corner better then stock tires.
Thanks! You also read my mind. I was just about to ask how much air I should put in. I decided to do black walls out. I dont really care for the Firestone logo, and I dont like advertising much. I love these tires so far. Its smooth and quiet on the freeway. Has more of a "truck" feel to it and doesnt bounce around as much when I start running into bumps.
While they were being installed... The Revo 2's on display were just staring at me, laughing. If only they had the right size :?

Hey that rodeo looks familiar.... :D :D

Dae I have those exact same size and brand of tires .... Im with you I went black side out too....I have about 13,000 mile on them so far I really like them.......

Especially because they were like $546.00 out the door from Firestone...... They were running a special and I kept getting a printed price quote and taking to the other tire dealers and saying can you beat this price ....then I would take their price to the next place and ask the same question....took a little time but was worth the savings in cash.....

Dae just noticed your rodeo looks like it sits higher than mine does you have a lift on it?

Dae it looks really good and congrats on the tires.......You got one nice looking rodeo ..... 8) 8) 8)

Lol. Thats cause I copied "your" Rodeo, and scored some side body moldings that the "LS" lacks. I really liked the look of them on your truck.
Im really liking the tires too, very grippy in the rain. You got them for a great price. Are they also the "light truck" versions?

I could have got them for around $580 out the door if I went with the regular "Passenger" tire version. The guys at Firestone were great. They were very interested in the Rodeo. Even alot of customers kept commenting on it, and thought it was amazing that it came from Guam. One dude even asked if I drove it here to WA, then in embarassment corrected himself
Im gona install my new WA plates in the morning. Then it will be just another normal "WA" vehicle... but secretly my Rodeo has crossed the Pacific Ocean!

My Rodeo now sits about 3" inches higher than stock. I put in the OME 913's coil springs and it raised the back about 2" and then cranked the front torsion bars to match, like most others have done. The OME's were a great investment. They are thick. The ride is much more comfortable for my passengers now.
The new tires are almost 1" over the stock size. When I park next to a stock Rodeo, its VERY noticeable.

Thanks for all the positive comments!! As you can tell I really like my truck. and have put alot of time and money into it, to keep it in the best shape possible. 8)

Dae your rodeo looks really good with the lift....going to have to save some cash and do that next........ 8) 8)
Man! you got those for a awesome price.

It not only looks alot better with the lift. It rides better too. Just cranking the front torsion bars alone feels like it tightened up the front and gave it a less "bouncy" feeling.
I say go for it. Youll love how it looks and rides. All you need are the OME coils and a brake line extension if you get the 913's. Anything else, you MIGHT need longer shocks.
I scored the OMEs from Indy4x for 170.00, IIRC. You can probably find them cheaper. Total time for the install with a helper was 1 hour and 30 mins. I decided to change the shocks while I was down there. Took 10 mins tops to do both fronts 8)

Hey Dae I got to thank you....I was sitting at the computer looking at Pictures of your rodeo and thinking damn that thing looks good with the tires and the lift....8) 8)

When the wife walked by and went why are pictures of your rodeo on there...I told her it wasn't mine and just looking at how nice it looks with the lift..... then scrolled down to the pic of mine....

She went wow it does look better lifted maybe you should do yours.....

Now I just got to decide OME 913 for 2" lift or OME 912 for 3" lift and of course come up with the cash...... :D :D

Now thats funny!! Lol

It wasnt that long ago when I was the one staring at pics of your LSE with its side body moldings, painted mirrors, sunroof... etc. and I wanted mine to be cool like it too.
I think you better order those coils ASAP, while the green light is still there, heh. Cant really help you with which to chose, the 2" was perfect for my needs and what I was going for. But most will tell you to go BIG now! Cause you MIGHT end up doing it again later, when you get addicted to mods.

BTW... I have a uncle in Phoenix, so if his kids decide to visit him this summer i'll be there. And you would be pretty lucky if you just so happened to have some new suspension parts just waiting to be installed

I was not bale to find the aswer that was provided to me a month ago, I have a 2001 Isuzu Roero LS V6, with stock P245/70/R16, and my brother inlaw gave me some 245/75/R16 MAXIS Bravo 750, by replacing this higher tires, do I have to modify anything on my Rodeo?

#45 ·
Not unless the new tires rub. They are less than 1" taller & slightly narrower than the old tires, so clearance should be fine. Also be aware your speedo will read slightly slower with the taller tires, about 3%.

#47 ·
You might have to remove the front mud flaps, if you have them. You'll have to check clearance between the tire and the screws that hold them on.
