Do I have to have the pictures on a server, or can they be posted directly from my computer?

Still confused on this. So I've uploaded my pictures up on Photobucket.com. So how do I just put the pictures right in here and not just link to them?

Once you have them on that website, view the page with the photo. (It is best to log out to do this). On that page, right-click on the image and select properties. (If you are running Mozilla Firefox, right-click and select "copy image location"). In the properties box, you will see the URL of the photo. Highlight that URL and copy it (Ctrl-C). Then in a forum post, use the IMG button. Press it once. Then paste the URL of your image (Ctrl-V). Then press the IMG button again. You will wind up with something like:

That is the way that it works. You put the pictures up on another site and the IMG tag makes them display in the post. This saves PlanetIsuzoo storage space. Text is small. Pics burn up space.

In Photobucket, go to any of your pics. Beneath the pic is a choice of 4 links. If the links are not there, put the cursor on the thumbnail and they will appear. The last one should be titled IMG Code. In its window, there's a long string beginning with

Copy that string and paste it to your message body page here and when you submit your write up, the pic will appear. Typically, pics are submitted here in the 640 x 480 format size. That's about all there is to it.
